Day 2: Greece vs Korea U2.5 -220 (2.2/1) W 2-0 +2.0
Day 3: Germany -0.5 -200 over Aussie (2/1) W 3-0 +3.0
Day 4: Netherlands -0.5 -185 over Denmark (1.85/1) W 4-0 +4.0

If you haven't seen this thread yet, please just stop in and give your best bet for the games tomorrow, June 15. They can be a total, ML, pk, spread, etc...anything you want. Based on the thread and the overall Rx Soccer Forum concensus, I'll pick a play that will be based on our collective "best bet".

For me, the bet for day 5 is:
Brazil vs Korea DPR Over 2.5 -160 (1.6/1)

I know, but this is the WC now. Expect the Brazil you're accustomed to watching. Plus North Korea is terrible.

We have picks all over the board for tomorrow. Early lean is to Brazil. Brazil -2.0 at -140 (matchbook) is actually looking very attractive to me now. We get the push if the game ends 2-0, instead of the loss at O2.5, and I really don't see Korea scoring unless it's some fluke. So, we'd be paying -140 @ -2 as opposed to -164 @ O2.5 when both of the lines almost pertain strictly to Brazil, IMO.


So, I'm changing my vote to Brazil -2 Korea -140.

I will go with Slovakia and New Zealand UNDER 2.5 -130 (with a local)

I do not see New Zealand scoring in this contest and Slovakia should be able to slot 1 or maybe a maximum of 2 against the All Whites. It will be a dogfight between Slovakia and Paraguay for the 2nd spot in this group besides Italy.

It is not a cheap price but I am willing to lay a couple of units on this.

I also like Slovakia -1 and Portugal -0.5 and UNDER 2 in that game.

From the posters I've seen, Brazil -2 is looking like the one. MobDeeper is on them, loosechange and born2gamble on them. kidman is on the -1.5. coaster and cocktails have the ladies. I'm locking it in at:

This is something i never understand. You are going with Slovakia ml and the Under... WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU GO AGAINST YOURSELF?
If your assumption is that, you'd get better value betting the score to be 1-0 or 2-0........ maybe its just me, but i just see that as going against yourself. If anything you should do the over.....

Martin, your point is taken but i never said I would bet BOTH Slovakia ML and the UNDER.

I said my best bet is to take the UNDER in that contest and I also lean towards Slovakia picking up a W.

Don't forget this is the first game for both teams. There will be a few kinks to work out. The way the new ball is sailing at this altitude, the Over is not an automatic by any means even when inferior teams are playing.
